ReplyRoyale

Terms

ReplyRoyale deals you cards; you play them yourself, on X. That one fact decides most of what follows.

What you are agreeing to

Connecting your X account is how you accept these terms. If you do not want them, do not connect — nothing else on this site asks anything of you.

You make every move

A card names a move and the condition it has to meet. You make that move on X, in your own voice, from your own account. ReplyRoyale has no write access and never posts for you, which means everything published under your handle is yours — your words, your judgment, and your responsibility under X’s own rules and the law where you live.

A card is never an instruction to break those rules. Where a card and X’s rules disagree, X’s rules win and the card goes unplayed — which, as how to play sets out, costs you nothing.

Clout is the game's own number

Clout is points in a game. It is not money, not followers, and not a promise about either. It cannot be bought, sold or transferred, it has no value outside this site, and it can be recalculated or reset — the ledger it is summed from is the record, not any number shown beside it.

A card the sweep cannot confirm simply does not pay. Traps subtract. Automating your account is what the trap is for, and an account the game finds running on automation can be suspended from play.

Beta

The game is free while it is in beta, and in beta things change: cards, scores, limits and the board may all be altered, reset or taken away. Play is offered as it is, with no warranty that the sweep will run, that it will read your account correctly, or that anything stored here survives. Where the law allows it to be limited, liability is limited to nothing — because nothing is what you have paid.

Either of us can end this at any time: you by disconnecting, us by suspending an account that is playing in bad faith.

Not affiliated with X

ReplyRoyale is an independent project by @SidneyCur. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with X Corp., and “X” is used here only to name the service the game reads.

Changes

These terms will change as the game does; the date above is the day the text last changed. Questions go to @SidneyCur.
